Innocent smoothies is a brand that aims to "make it easy for people to do themselves some good (whilst making it taste nice too)". Innocent smoothies was started in 1999 after selling smoothies at a music festival. They put a big sign asking people if they thought they should give up their day jobs to make smoothies, and put a bin saying 'yes' and a bin saying 'no' in front of the stall. Then we got people to vote with their empty cups. At the end of the weekend, the 'yes' bin was full, so they resigned from their jobs the next day and got cracking. Since then, they now sell coconut water, juice and kids' stuff, in their quest to make natural, delicious, healthy drinks that help people live well and die old.
Innocent's logo design is incredibly slick and fits really successfully with their demographic. Their logo design is very well suited, as it appeals to children as it is illustrative, but it's also very slick and legible and therefore, also appeals to adults. The colour scheme for innocent is very successful and gives off very healthy vibes due to the use of red and black. It also contrasts incredibly well with the packaging of the smoothies.
